when I try to record video on it , it opens a box that ask to open a avi file to record in but I cant find one or really don’t have any idea what or where to get it from , I guess its the source for it to record to I have no clue …can any one tell me how.

I got myself a PCMCIA usb hub for my laptop. The card is getting installed properly and is being shown in the device manager. But, when I connect a usb device into it such as a usb drive etc, it shows that the usb device is not recognized. I tried it on my friend’s laptop also but it is showing the same error. I am using Windows XP. Please Help…. Thanks in advance….

We have some pointsec protector installed in our machines. Due to which we can copy anything from a usb drive to pc but we can’t copy anything from pc to usb drive. For that, it runs a process to encrypt whole usb drive which creates problem in case of usb drives with big capacity eg. 8 gb and usb card readers. Is there a way around that.

which is pinned to master. the startup is around 50 secs since i exchanged the new hdd from samsung to western dig. if i disable or disconnect the slave hdd the startup is only 30 secs. i have a friend with similar setup but his pc starts up 30secs even eith his slave drive attached. my pc is newely reformatted but the startup is so slow if i enable the extra hdd. my system is athlon xp 2000, epox mainboard, 1G ddr400 RAM, geforce 6200 256mb vid card, LG DVD writer with slave LG crwrom. is this within normal startup time or is there anything wrong? i already disabled other startup items which i seldom use, defragment and clean up.
