My USB Memory Stick won’t work help!!?

i just rebooted my computer because it was acting dumb and slow. But i saved some back-up files on my memory stick and now it doesn’t let me open up my memory stick files.

hard drive writing to same sectors and no boot CD.am I screwed?

pc has 800 mgz cpu and 512 mb, 20 gb hdd with about 3 gb of free space, running windows xp home version 2, about 5 years old, off brand. recently added belkin 5 port usb 2.0 card and la cie 250 gb external hd, that’s when problems started. pc would not auto shut off at first, had to push on/off button. would boot up to windows login, had to click profile, never had to do that before. today booted up to check disk utility which I (foolishly) skipped on the second login. All these Microsoft Money 2004 error messages popped up, window from system tray pops up I need to run check disk utility. try to get out of Microsoft Money 2004 error messages to run check disk. go to delete Microsoft Money 2004 from add/delete programs and every thing locks up, ctrl-alt-delete, no go. turn off pc with on/off switch, leave for a bit in frustration (!), try again, run check disk, get all these error messages about FAT on same area (i think), fixed by copying. then goes to cd rom error,need boot cd HELP!!

Can I download a new OS for my mp3 player?

I bought a cheap mp3 player, and suprise! i’ve already broken it. The Os doen’t boot up. I only get a blue screen.

My 360 Controller will not connect with my PC. What am I to do?

I own a wireless Xbox 360 Controller. I did not purchase the PC adapter that you plug in to the USB port to pick up the wireless controller. However, I do own the Play and Charge Kit. So I plugged my controller into the USB port by way of that.
1 CommentI get the found new hardware jazz.. Well, I did a long time ago when I first tried this then gave up. But tonight I went and installed the driver updates from Microsoft.com and still nothing.
I get the little connection thing but none of the quadrants light up on my PC. The Controller just flashes green, but never connects. And yes, it is all plugged up and connected. Just doesn’t want to work.
Oh… I’m running Vista x64.

I don’t want a 40gb, not coz of the size, because:
No flash card readers
2 USB ports
No wireless
Cant play PS2 games

How do i set up file and printer sharing between vista and xp?

I have a DG834GT router and both computers are linked to the internet via the router, this network is called ‘AshG’ I want to enable my vista desktop to share files and the printer attached to my desktop as well as keeping the internet connection.
Please could someone talk me through the process.

I have a new iPod Shuffle that I am trying to get to work using my Windows 2000 OS. I have an old iPod format disk, and I downloaded the iTunes to my computer, but it will not recognize the iPod Shuffle when I plug in to the USB. Do I have to download the newer version of Windows (vista or XP) or is there a way to make it work? THANKS!!

duplex printing?

I have an hp laserjet 2200dn. It has automatic duplex printing. When I depress the print button it will do this but not when I’m printing a document. I’ve read the online manual without being able so solve the problem.

The printer was purchased as a refurbished model.

Problem with memory card inside a nokia phone?

I have a nokia 5200 phone.Since yesterday,whenever i insert the usb cable to my phone to transfer some files/music then i click data storage like always but then it says ‘memory card is in use by another application’.Can someone help me what is that??Now i can’t listen to my songs on my xbx 360 too:(
