Is this gaming rig amazing? Or is it too much?
The powersupply is 850W. Is my fan going to make too much noise?
It’s a QuadCore Q9550, (2.83 GHz/12 MB Cache)
ThermalTake MaxOrb Cooling Fan System. (Will this help the noise level of the fans?)
[SLI] MSI P7N Diamond Nvidia nForce 780i SLI Chipset w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, IEEE-1394, Three PCI-E MB (Will this go with my Dual NVIDIA GTX+ 9800, 512 MB?)
4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR2-1066 PC2 8500 Memory Module Corsair Dominator
2x NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX+ 512MB w/DVI + TV Out Video - running SLI mode
750GB Ram, Running 7200 RPM, 16 MB Cache.
MS Windows XP Professional w/ Service Pack 2
I’m almost sure this will be able to run Crysis on Highest Settings, and CoD4 As well. But will my 850W PS take it? Please reply soon. ;D
Ew, Lmao. My bad I mean’t 750Gigs of HDD. It’s about 11 PM, So I’m really not thinking straight sorry.
The reason why I want an Expensive Computer such as this is because since I’m 14, My padre(Lmao) doesn’t really buy me computers every year. Actually I’ve had the same Vaio for about 5 years, and it’s time for a change. If the time comes when some SUPER DUPER ******** game comes out, And everyones crazy about it, Then I won’t really have to change much. I’ll stay with this baby.
Oh yeah, Sorry about that. I’m not great at OCing. I see it as a risky business. And people say when you overclock the crap out of a processer, The fans go 100%, And I’ve lived with that for too long. Of course, If someone could like walk me through than it wouldn’t be a problem. I’m a fast learner.
And this is kinda a B-Day + Straight A’s present, So my dad’s proud, And when he’s proud… You know.
Is Liquid really better than just a Reg. Cooling Fan? It’s 63 Bucks on New Egg, Like 20 Bucks more than this fan.

iPod won’t charge, keeps disconnecting (makes beeping sounds). HELP?
Has anyone had this kind of trouble? It was working fine a month before, I don’t even use it very much and suddenly it seems like it’s worn down and disconnecting and stuff.

Has the firmware for my usb storage device, been re-written or cleared?
Game controllers, usb mouse/keyboard, usb mass storage device etc.
I think it was a simple problem with his computer he had at the time, but he’s sorted all that.
Anyway, we was looking at a firmware program to re-write it all into everything that got cleared, but they cost a lot of money.
So I was just wondering, is there any other way of getting it back? Or, if you don’t think it’s the firmware, can you suggest something else?
I’m not quite sure how to reply to people’s answers.
But, the pc has been restored, or formatted, I’m not sure what my dad done with it.
All I hope to do now is to fix my usb storage device
Also, I have tried my usb on my pc, which is different ofc
But yeah, so the computer isn’t the problem.

Need help choosing Dell Ultrasharp 22″ Vs S2409W 24″?
I am buying a new Dell XPS studio desktop computer with i7 core, and after doing a little research around the internet , I found out that I should take XPS studio bundle with 6 GB with a monitor. I was going to take the one under $ 1000 dollar but since I am getting installment payment on it, I though I’ll take the best deal so I don’t have to upgrade it for a year or two.
But, I have hard time choosing Dell Ultrashop 22 ”

And , Dell 24 inches
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Monitors/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=320-7345
I know the differences between ultrasharp series and non ultrasharp series. However, 24 ” wide screen with HDMI port really attracted me because not only it is full 1080p but also has a stereo output jack so I could connect that jack with my stereo head phone. On the other hand, Dell Ultrasharp is 2 ” short of S2409W but it has 4 extra USB ports which will be very handy to me. However that is the point, it is not full 1080p and it does lack a DVI port.
Whatever monitors I choose Dell would charged the same amount and that what make me very hard to choose. And I like to add a little extra information about my computing habit. I am computer science student but lately I had been taking a lot of computer graphics courses. Last fall I took basic computer graphic, and in this spring I am taking photoshop editing course. I am taking those computer graphic courses as general elective requirement for my degree and I took them because I enjoyed them rather than taking some other ark classes. But lately I had been having a lot of thought about career changing into computer graphic or animations. But I could change after I finish AA in this community college and transfer to 4 years fledged university. At the mean time, I would like my i7 core computer to future proof for at least 2 years.
I would appreciated very much if someone in the related field could advice me on this.
Thank you
