is there a way to add a firewire port to my laptop?!

I have a 1GB PNY usb flash drive, and I make a time line on windows movie maker for my project, but when I but the usb in another computer the pictures wont show up! Please help! thanks!

Acer one with Linux compatibility with Windows documents?

Im planning on buying an Acer One with Linux, but at work i work a lot with Windows documents. So i would like to know if Microsoft Word documents work well on Linux, or if Linux has problems reading them.
By the way, what is the Word type program that Linux uses ??

Can I transfer pictures from a computer to a memory card and then on to a digital picture frame?

I guess I need a card reader too? All my pictures are on my computer and the picture frame only takes memory cards.. I can’t seem to find a straight answer anywhere. It’s a polaroid digital photo frame. Any help would be amazing! Thanks!

gps antenna keeps disconnecting?

I have a Holux GPS antenna running with Micro. Streets and trips. I am using windows XP. Everything is fine until I stop the vehicle for a short time. Maybe a lond red light 3 minutes or so. the GPS stops transmittinhg the signal. Also it is connected on COM Port 5 thru USB connection. YES I ahve tried other ports. I have to unplug the antenna and re plug it in. And re search for satelittes.It happens EVERYTIME! Even if I have 20 satelittes connected and they are all strong. YES I reinstalled the correct drivers.

I’ve gone into prefrences and into audio and changed the mic to USB Camera. But it still doesn’t work. Like I said, it’s worked before and I can record videos and the sound is great. Any ideas??

Free Download Drivers, EXTERNAL 2.5″ HDD CASE USB 2.0?

60ghb HD in a 2.5″ USB EXTERNEAL BOX, USB 2.0. Disk for windows 98 only. Box claims is a plug and play for 2000/XP but doesn’t work when computer booted or plug in USB cable after running. Does not have a jack for power pack. Green light comes on when USB cable plugged in. Is there anything I can do, like drivers? No-name, possiblly Tiwan, model 632T. Message says I have it plugged into the wrong port for a hi speed device. When I say OK, ignores using at a lower speed.

Mouse and Keyboard aren’t responding?

I turned on my computer today and i went to go log into my windows user and the keyboard didn’t work, but the num lock light was on. I went to the back of my computer and i switched the mouse usb with the keyboard usb and then i rebooted. Now both the mouse and the keyboard don’t work!!!
How can i resolve this problem?

Hi frens,
There is one idiot in my firm, he has disabled all USB ports and went.
Can someone plzzz tell me how to enable it back.
I tried changing values to 3 from 4 in regedit. still no go.
