This is a HP computer by the way, my friend recommended to buy an HP, said they were great, but i just want the opinion of other people also. If you were all wondering, my computer is dieing now. it takes at least 4-5 minutes just to get to the screen where i put my password to get into my account and XP.

Can I transfer Windows XP SP2 from one computer to another?

Hey, I hope somebody can help me out. I just replaced my dad’s hard drive in his computer and reinstalled Windows XP using the manufacter’s recovery discs. Unfortunately, they did not include a copy of SP2 with the discs. We have dialup, so downloading SP2 is pretty much not an option. I have a laptop that has Windows XP SP2 installed on it. Is there any way I can copy the necessary files over on CD/USB storage/networking instead of downloading or purchasing a copy? I doubt that I saved the big installation file on my laptop (I downloaded it when I was at college), but I need to check that out. I do not know anybody in this area who has a non-dialup connection, so that is not an option. I’ll buy it if necessary from Microsoft, but I’d rather have it as soon as possible. Thanks for your help!

is my logitec wireless keyboard gonna work on the linux OS cos i heard i must use a UBS keyboard when i choose to use the linux OS on the ps3,am asking cos its gonna be really messed up to have two keyboards..wireless and USB.

I just go my laptop, and I thought i installed everything. Now I want to be able to run the Bluetooth that comes with it so I can get software for my phone. But, I don’t know how to open it/run it. So please, any help at all?

I have a computer with two hard drives, one DVD disk drive, and one empty place where a disk drive would go. What if I found another hard drive and tried to put it in that disk drive slot. Would it work like normal?

Need help with my Belkin Wireless G+ MIMO USB Network Adapter?

hi. i have just re-installed windows xp home on my pc. now i have no sound, and cant access the internet on it to download drivers for everything. i have a Belkin wireless thingy but the cd with everything on it got lost. so i download the drivers from the web site and installed. now im getting limited or no connection an not able to access the net (im on a laptop writing this btw :)) iv tried using ethernet cable but its dot detecting it. i have a thomson speed-touch router and im using AOL as my ISP. it is also saying the drivers need updating but they are the only ones i can find. any help wold be gratefully appreciated.
i can not get on net to download . but i am connected to the network but there is a message on bottom right saying” this connection has limited or no connections. you might not be able to access the internet or some network resources.”

Lexmark X4270 All In One Printer Problem?

My old emachines crashed the other day so I got the T5062 model that has Windows Vista. I went to the Lexmark website and downloaded the new driver. It says that my driver is installed and yet I can only get the printer to print half documents, then it freezes. Lexmark rep told me to try plugging USB into a different port. Now it is saying Unknown Device and that there’s something wrong with the USB port (I tried it in every port and it’s the same error message). Now my printer in the tool bar has a red x in it, even tho it says it is online. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need the printer to print labels. Lexmark said they were sending me a USB hub. What is that and why do I need it if my computer has 10 USB ports. Help!

Is the LG Versa a good touch screen phone without the keyboard?

Im looking for a good touch screen phone and the Versa looks pretty good. I was also looking at the dare, which is also a great phone. Is the LG versa a good touch screen phone without its keyboard if i only wanted to use the touch screen. The attachable keyboard looks a little weird and it makes the phone bigger and in my opinion ugly. What do you think? Any other touch screen phone recommendations?
