how do i make an external hardrive wireless?

I have a couple external hard-drives and i want to be able to connect them to a device that would allow me to connect/access the hard drives from my laptop wirelessly. I don’t need to connect the hard drive to the internet, i just want a device to send out a signal that would allow my wireless(and bluetooth) capable computer to pick it up. Hope this makes sense.
Does anyone know of a device or method of doing this?
the external hard drives normally connect to my laptop/computer by USB port.

My LaCie external hdd is no longer recognised by my laptop.any ideas?

It used to work fine!! Now, it doesnt show up in My Computer, or in device manager.. doesnt even make that sound when I plug in the usb cord in. The hdd light does flash makes sounds, just nothing shows up on my computer. Ive tried different power points, different usb cord etc… Other usb devices continue to work however.

damn small linux boot error?

am a computer student and am having lex and yacc lab
let me just present u the situation
i hav a windows xp os
i want to do certain programs in unix
so am tryin to install this dsl (Damn Small Linux which is around 50 megs to my pendrive) i installed it the way it was described in the tutorial .I did make the right bios settings so that my usb is gonna boot first but am gettin this stupid error called Boot Error all the time when i try to boot from the pen drive so pls help

Is it easy to get a video from a mini-dv to my computer?

I know that unlike mini-dvd’s, hard drives, and flash memory camcorders, mini-dv camcorders record to tape and use a compression other than mp3. However, I previously learned that the video quality is much better. So, how do you get the mini-dv video to save to your computer as an mp3? Do you press play on the camcorder and then it sends the video to your computer via usb or firewire? If that is how you do it, does the camcorder automatically convert it to an MP3 or do you then have to take an additional step of converting the video file to an MP3?

Don’t mean to sound stupid but I really have no idea how this works despite being fairly computer savy.

Can I cancel right after I register a Credit Card?

I want to make a Credit/Debit Card collection and I wonder if there is any problems if I just cancel a Credit Card right after I sign up?
Because all I want is just a card =].

And what happen if I can’t cancel but I never use that credit card? Do I have to pay anything monthly/annually?
