is there a way to fix a bent usb cable?

The part of the cable that you put it to the usb port, is bent and i cant use my web cam.

    no you have to replace it

    use a vise grip and straighten it out
    just be easy you dont over do it
    but it can be done
    same happened to my mp3 jack

    get a new one you ll never fix that part

    It may just be worth the headache to just go out and purchase a new one, since the prices keep going down - find one on sale somewhere. You don’t want to risk breaking another item, trying to force the “repaired” USB cable on to your other items.

    Well that depends on what you mean by bent. A little bent, you can usually bend back with pliers and get it to work. A lot, you are usually screwed because stuff inside breaks. At least cameras are not that expensive anymore.

    Which side of the USB cord is messed up. Im gona assume its the A side of it. A USB connector has 4 pins in it. If you can bend it back with needlenosie pliers without messing up the pins it should work.
