I’m looking for a smart phone or set or category of phones that is most like a computer in that:
1 Comment1. The OS is Linux, and I can replace or upgrade it
2. I can hook it up to USB
3. I can run Java on it
4. It has a substantial amount of RAM and other memory in it
5. I could do development on it

i downloaded some games on my computer and i have a usb connection to my computer now how do i install them on my phone (lg cu500v)
the games i download do not come with an .exe file that im used to. it comes with a bunch of random files. i know how to put it on my memory card and phone but how do install it so i can play it

What is the best (Bluetooth, mp3, photo) cell phone available for AT&T?

My Motorola V557 is dieing with battery life being lest than one day, even when I don’t use it… So I need to upgrade. I’d like a thin, light phone that supports bluetooth and MP3s (via SD card). It must have a non-USB connection for a headset. I know some support 2.5 mm headset plugs. Which are the best and why? I don’t want a PDA.
WHY is you pick the best? Is it rated by any independent rating companies such as CNET???

Or do you have to PAY for every photo you up load ALSO what about SONGS if you have an IPOD PHONE do you have to PAY or is it just like any other I POD…….think i got RIPPED here with my Verizon Pre paid LG CHOCOLATE 8550 IPOD phone and Camera/Vidio The two things I was just ASSUMING I would be able to do with BLUE TOOTH Technology or a usb cable and IPOD phone were Use it like ANY ipod and also upload photos Free of charge to my PC……now I just have a $99 phone AFTER the $50 rebate that IS…..which isnt all that bad really. What could cause a computer not to start up?

I recently plug in a usb cable for a cell phone and then an error popped up saying “USB POWER SERGE” and the computer shut down. Now when we turn it back on it will not start up pass the fans coming on and that is it. What could be the problem?? Please help!
