I have dell inspiron with wireless adapter built in running Vist home premium and a compaq 6027 with a wireless usb adapter running XP home edition .
I would like to be able to play games with another person on one of them.
How do I set up both computers for this

How can I add software via CD, while running a boot disk?

I want to install my network adapter, while running a backtrack 2 boot disk. I tried saving it to a USB stick, but couldn’t figure out how to access the drive, I’m very new to Backtrack.

Hello I have a usb 160gb external hardrive formatted in FAT32 connected to my PC running windows xp and I was wondering can I download files from the Internet directly to my external hard drive or will I have to download to my PC hardrive and transfer.

JVC GR-D920U and connecting to Mac Powerbook G4?

I have a JVC GR-D290U and am trying to connect it to my Powerbook G4 1.67 GHz.I’m running leopard and am currently up to date on all the releases. I’ve tried firewire, USB and nothing. it doesn’t show up in imovie, or photobooth or anything is there anyway to make this work? thanks for the help

How do I transfer files from Win3.1 to WinXP?

I have an old PC running Windows 3.1 and want to transfer Excel files to a newer PC running Windows XP. My old PC doesn’t have a USB connector, but it does have a modem. These Excel files are too large to fit onto a 3.5″ diskette. What is the most efficient way to move these files? I don’t want to use CD’s or diskettes. I want to use the hard drive to transfer them.

logitech usb headset not recognized?

i am running xp and i have a usb headset by logitech. when i first got it and plugged it in, it worked flawlessly. then when i went to plug it in a second time, instead of ‘logitech headset’ to pop up in the small window in the bottom right it read ‘usb device not recognized’. when i clicked the box it proceeded to tell me that there is no driver for my hardware.
No Commentsbut i must have had the driver to begin with on the count of it worked before? so now its gone? this doesnt make any sense.
so i browsed fourm after forum, including the logitech support forum, which all basically said the same thing. “the operating system has the driver so the product doesnt come with a cd and can not be downloaded off the web”. i have done every update. i even tried restoring my computer back to the restore point when it once worked and that didnt work.
so i went to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers and the driver i need is listed and there! so why is my device not recognized? it was before, why not now?

on 14th november I inserted a pendrive in my laptop from where my laptop got infected with autorun.inf…..though my avast internal scanner was able to detect it but it was unable to delete the virus…..I restored my system to an earlier point…..it is working fine but my laptop started running very slowly……whenever i turn it off and restart it takes a hell lot of time to boot …it even takes a lot of time to open any application or window…….plz help how to get rid of this problem….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am running windows 2003 on a Satellite A135-S7403.I have only 2 drivers left.

Does anyone know where to find a driver for HP 1500L color laser printer to work on Mac OS 10.4.11?

Have seen other messages (on other sites) saying that printer will work on OSX but cannot find the printer in the description when trying to install new printer. Printer flashes to show it is receiving data but it will not print. Connected via USB to Macbook running 10.4.11. Also want to run it on Windows XP, any ideas?
