i have 2 computers and 1 has internet connection using a modem. but the otehr one has no internet connection. but if i buy a wifi router for my none internet one. will i able to get the same internet from my modem? and should i buy an wifi usb adpapter or an wifi router?

its picking up the signal and says its connected but the wireless connections is sayin its limited connectivity and isnt allowing me on internet explorer.

right now i have a laptop with wireless N capabilities.
No Commentsby getting a wireless N usb adapter (like this one…http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10101370&catid=26056#), will it increase my laptops wireless range, or is it just for a laptop that doesnt come with wireless n, but somebody wants to have wireless n on it?
also the one above is a linksys wireless n usb adapter, does that mean it only works with linksys wireless routers? or will it work with any wireless router?

Netgear WG111 USB Adapter Problems?

I recently bought a Netgear WG111 USB Adapter and installed it in my laptop the way the manual told me to. The installation was ok, but i dont know why it has no connection and even no network list. I read the cds troubleshooting guide and all but i still cant make it work. Do i need a wireless router for my adaptor to work? I want to connect my laptop to my desktop pc’s internet. My desktop pc is using a wired router. And i was thinking that if ill buy Netgear WG111 USB Adapter i can now make a connection from my desktop pc to my laptop. Am i wrong?
Please help me out. Im really new at this.

I’m not a edit geek, when I use the usb convertor with mini jacks I get hum uploading analog. I get better recordings over-air than with the port. I’m thinking it’s time for a good microphone for recording streams. My Internet radio station does send any streaming data about the songs so when I tried to import, audacity didn’t see the stream. What am I doing wrong?

i plugged it in and something poped up and i put one song on there then took it off to make sure it worked. now when i plug it in nothing pops up. HHHEEELLLPPP!!! 10 points for whoever solves my problem

My computer is brand new, so please don’t tell me that the ports are bad. It’s not responding to my camera or my printer. But it is to my USB adapter thingy…and my computer keeps humming loudly, not like before…
